15 New Retailers Coming to Lake Nona Landing

15 New Retailers = 15 More Reasons to Love Lake Nona

Lake Nona is growing, and it's not just by people. New retailers are popping up left and right to keep up with Lake Nona's flourishing population. The brand new $100 million Lake Nona Landing shopping center will be home to 15 of these new businesses. Here are the one's that have been announced so far:

  • Pollo Tropical
  • Chili's
  • Mattress One
  • Rubio's Coastal Grill
  • Lowe's
  • Dunkin Donuts
  • PDQ
  • AT&T

Lowes will be the largest project totaling 158,000 sq. ft. The location will include a 37,200 sq. ft. garden center, an indoor lumber yard and 484 parking spaces according to Orlando Business Journal. Check back for updates on the remaining retailers who will occupy the shopping center.

Amazon Warehouse Project Near Lake Nona is a Go

According to the Orlando Business Journal, a permit for $1.34 million worth of "site infrastructure and utilities for future commercial development" was filed on June 2 for the proposed warehouse site near OIA and Lake Nona. Tavistock Plans to Add 1,800 Acres to Lake Nona

Lake Nona is quickly becoming the most talked about and fastest growing community in Central Florida, and Tavistock wants more. 1,800 acres worth. Plans filed with the city of Orlando confirm that the development company will add a whopping 3,196 homes, a neighborhood center and a school located at the Orange and Osceola county border. If approved by the city on July 18th, this project will be in addition to the already $1B in projects they currently have in the works. Stay tuned for more updates!

Permits Issued for $10M Lake Nona Drive Shack

Lake Nona is "Teeing Up" to Become Leading Sports and Performance Destination

Staying true to it's health and wellness roots, the Lake Nona Sports and Performance District has just been issued permits good for $10M to begin construction on it's newest project, Taylor Made's Drive Shack. The 3-story, 57,000 square-foot driving range will join the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), The United States Tennis Association (USTA), a 23-acre Orlando City Soccer Club training facility, the Johnson and Johnson Human Performance Institute and, of course, the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club. It's presence in the community will help shape Lake Nona into the "progressive city of the future anchored by clusters of excellence in health and wellness, sports, education and technology" it hopes to be. 

The project will also include a restaurant, lounge, bar, hitting bays and meeting spaces. According to the Orlando Business Journal, it will be built on a 15-acre site on the northwest quadrant of State Road 417 and Lake Nona Boulevard. The full project is expected to total $15M -$25M to complete. Stay tuned for construction updates!
